Jennifer Dobbs-Oates is a scholar, practitioner, and leader of experiential education. A clinical professor of human development and family science at Purdue University, she was the founding director of the university's Office of Experiential Education. She now serves as the inaugural Associate Vice Provost for World Readiness, providing strategic direction for Purdue's work to ensure student success beyond graduation. Her portfolio of responsibilities includes experiential education, undergraduate research, and career success. Dr. Dobbs-Oates was previously recognized with the Experiential Education Rising Leader Award from the Society for Experiential Education. She now serves as the Vice President of the Society.
