Annette Morgan is a Senior Lecturer and Course/Major Coordinator for Taxation at Curtin University, and the Academic Lead of the Industry and Community Hub within the Faculty of Business and Law. In this role, she provides strategic leadership across Work-Integrated Learning (WIL), practice-based learning, clinics, internships, study tours, and industry-engaged projects. She oversees governance, quality assurance, and the development of scalable, cross-disciplinary models delivered across onshore and offshore programs.
Annette is also the Co-Founder and Director of the Curtin Tax Clinic, Australia’s first pro bono university-based tax clinic and a nationally recognised model under the Australian Government’s National Tax Clinic Program. Her work integrates professional practice, policy engagement, and experiential learning to strengthen graduate capability, community impact, and industry-connected education.
Her leadership in WIL, clinical education, and financial literacy has been recognised through multiple national and institutional awards, reflecting her contribution to social impact and professional practice.
Annette serves as Deputy Chair of the WIL Australia Events Committee and is actively engaged in advancing national dialogue on high-quality, practice-based learning.
