Karim Yacoub is the Medical Imaging Stream Leader and Academic Clinical Coordinator at RMIT University. He is passionate about radiographic education and strongly values excellence in both clinical practice and academic environments.

Karim serves on the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapist (ASMIRT) National Education Committee, the Victorian Branch Committee, and the Continuing Education Committee (CEC). He is also a mentor for the ASMIRT Victorian Student Committee. Karim is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) and holds a Master of Health Management and Leadership.

He is the Founder of Radiographer’s View, a professional online community connecting radiographers nationally and internationally. Since 2025, Karim has been involved with WIL Australia (formerly ACEN) as Lead of the Research & Conference Support Grants Working Party and as a member of the Research & Impact Committee.
