Kasey worked as a primary school teacher before she joined Charles Sturt in 2019. Initially, she worked in the Academic Skills Team before she joined the Workplace Learning team. In Workplace Learning, Kasey combined her passion for supporting Initial Teacher Education students as both Lecturer and Course Director.
