Robbie is the Work Integrated Learning program coordinator for the College of Science and Engineering at Flinders University as well as the coordinator for Honours/Masters for Engineering and Computational and Mathematical Sciences at the same institution. He is passionate about provided excellent WIL experiences for students and works tirelessly to improve student and industry experience and interactions with WIL.
He is the Educational Activities coordinator for the SA Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics engineers where he has used that role to continue to build opportunities for students and industry to interact. His current research in Work Integrated Learning seeks to understand the barriers students face and the decisions they make in selecting a WIL. His other research interests are affiliated with the Medical Device Research Institute and continues the work of his PhD in stroke rehabilitation robotics and focuses on neurorehabilitation, biomechanics, robotics, and all things design.
